Well... what should I say? Bad? No, no way, by the way it's too cool... original? I would say no and yes..., well, maybe this one is unlabelled, no genre would be defined therefore when we find the progressive and metal roots, digging these songs.

The kind of music played here is totally instrumental, which I compare to another artist already released here on stormside (check out Michael Lee Ostrander), even though Michael would be more industrial, while Qwestion is more prog, this paradoxal line is necessary to come up with what the band intends.

Maybe those songs would fit perfectly for Sega's Playstation soundtracks because of variety of atmospheres shown up. Songs with more harmonies can be appreciated like "The Mask" and "Chaos Theory", which sometimes you listen to good harmonies which sometimes get lost in undefined instrumental, pitty, because started very well. The weight of heavy guitars can be found at track like "Forest of the Norm" but the drum can spoil everything (which, by the way it's electronic).

The debut simply named "Y" was released last July, and it's interesting that the band's members are giving a free CD for 50 albums sold on their website. The band Qwestion is originally from MI in USA and activities with music started when former musicians Mike Griffith and Vincent Hall invited John Hall to play guitars.

After some time of hard rehearse they released this self-produced album. Maybe it's time to think of fitting some voice to the music..., nothing against the instrumental music played here, but that would add soul to this music which is nice, but kinda "zombie".
