Upon listening to this cd, one finds himself in for almost an hour of a jam session between bass & guitar. However, this American duet also tries to run at melodies (3), jazzy prog rock
(2) as well as their main theme, inventive metal. One wonders what this duet might do if they had a complete band with them.
There is also a strong bass solo
(6), a bit of craziness (4) and, in the final piece, a short dissertation that merited the duet a "Parental Advisory Explicit Content" sticker, something that Frank Zappa fought against a long time ago in 1985.
For their first release, Qwestion shows the listener various styles, the main one being metal. Maybe for their next release they should try a bit more melody.... Jerry L.

En écoutant cette session instrumentale d'environ une heure, on ne peut qu'imaginer ce que ce duo pourrait faire avec une formation complète. Beaucoup de metal, parfois un peu expérimental et parfois simple. Une pièce progressive jazzée (2), un peu de mélodie (3), une interlude dans le bain (4). un beau solo de basse (6) et, sur la pièce finale une fin des moins sérieuses avec un langages que a mérité au groupe l'étiquette "Parental Advisory
Explicit Content" que Frank Zappa a combattu il y a plus de 17 ans.
Pour un premier album, c'est assez intéressant. Un peu plus de mélodie dans le futur serait agréable.
